Summary: 24 HOURS MINIMUM ADVANCED BOOKING REQUIRED. Tour does not include hotel pickup or drop-off, but pre-arranged round-trip shuttle service to the Seaplane Base may be available for $20.00 per person, payable the day of the tour. Information about ordering the shuttle will be included on your E-Ticket. There is no child discount. Maximum number of passengers per flight is 3, including children. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-303-1503. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

About the Everglades

Just 60 miles from downtown Miami, the Everglades takes you back to a more primitive, yet beautiful, Florida. From the air you'll see muted green and brown tones of the freshwater prairies. It is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. Designated a World Heritage Site, International Biosphere Reserve, and Wetland of International Importance it boasts rare and endangered species.

Most of the park's 1.5 million acres are either fresh or brackish water wetlands, or are submerged beneath the shallow estuarine waters of Florida Bay.

FAQs

What should I wear?
~ Cool and comfortable clothing is best for embarking and landing at the beachfront base. Wear shoes you don't mind walking on sand and possibly getting wet. Bring along a pair of sunglasses.

Can I bring a camera on board?
~ Absolutely! You'll get amazing photos. No professional equipment is allowed on board.

What is the weight limit?
~ Maximum weight is 250 pounds per passenger.

How many people can fly on the aircraft?
~ In addition to the pilot, there is room for three passengers. Children may not sit on an adult's lap. Booster seats are available.

Can I sit in the co-pilot seat?
~ The pilot will consider your request, but he makes the ultimate decision of who will be seated in the co-pilot seat, based on weight and balance of the aircraft.

Will I get a window seat?
~ Each passenger gets a window seat and a headset connected to an intercom system.

Will I get airsick?
~ It does happen. If you are prone to motion sickness, you should take whatever measure you normally take to combat it. In the event you do get sick, there are air sickness bags in the airplanes and the pilot will make you aware of their location.

Are tours available in a language other than English?
~ Tour is also provided in Spanish. A minimum of 4 days' advance notice is required.

Are gratuities for the pilot/guide included in the prices?
~ No, gratuities are not included. They are optional, at your discretion.

~ All passengers must present a valid photo ID
~ This tour must be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance (4 days in advance for Spanish language tour)
~ No changes may be made to a Seaplane reservation within 7 days of the tour date
~ Tour does not operate on Thanksgiving Day, December 25, 31 or January 1
~ All passengers must sign a liability waiver to participate on this tour - parent or guardian must sign for any minor child
~ This tour departs from Key Biscayne (address and directions provided on your E-Ticket)
~ Key Biscayne is approximately 8 miles from Miami
