There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Private Tour Pricing and Vehicles
- All rates are per-group and are dependent on group size. You will need to confirm the applicable vehicle upon booking.
- Tours for up to 4 persons are conducted in 4-door Jeep Wranglers with a soft top.
- Tours for 5 or 6 persons are conducted in a full-size SUV.

- Standard tour narration is in English. Spanish, German, and French speaking guides available upon request. On the Order Form, you will be asked to select your choice of language.

Itinerary
A professional guide picks you up at your lodging and the tour heads West on the Tamiami Trail, the first man-made road through the Everglades. As the vehicle passes by endless Sawgrass prairies dotted with hardwood hammocks, you will learn about the history of Florida and the Glades, beginning three hundred million years ago. Your guide will describe the limestone geology and unique thunderstorm-driven hydrology of the region and explain why the Everglades is one of only two wetlands worldwide to be named a World Heritage Site, a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance and an International Biosphere Reserve. You will see and learn about seven distinct Everglades ecosystems, all of which are connected by fresh water and wholly dependent on one another for survival. You'll be taken into Big Cypress National Preserve where you will learn about Cypress Swamps and Rock Pine forests and see the transition from one ecosystem to another.
Then go off the beaten path where the ancient history of Big Cypress is told in a fun and compelling way. Your guide will tell you about the Native People who lived here 3000 years ago and about the Miccosukee Indians and Gladesmen who make The Everglades their home today. While the story unfolds, you are likely to see Gators, Wood Storks, Ospreys, White Tailed Deer, Fox Squirrel, Hawks, Egrets, Great Blue Herons and countless other animals...all in the wild - as they should be seen.
You'll also be shown the famous Sweetwater Strand, one of the most photographed locations in the entire Florida Everglades. This is a chance for you to really experience the deep solitude and isolation the Everglades offers.
The next segment of the tour is a captivating one hour private airboat ride through the Sawgrass Marshes with a seasoned boat Captain. This airboat ride is unique in that it makes two stops: the last Hardwood Hammock or "Tree Island" the Miccosukee Indians inhabited until 1975 and a smaller island with rudimentary structures used to rehabilitate injured Everglades animals before releasing them back into the wild.
On your trip back to Miami, the Everglades adventure is wrapped up by talking about the current efforts to save and protect the Everglades, home to over 36 endangered and threatened species - and how everyone can protect South Florida’s most important source of freshwater.
